The Asaph Zadok National Scrabble Championship is scheduled to take place from April 11th - 13th, 2025, in Benin City, Edo State. Below are the general guidelines governing the event.
States/Institutions: All States and the FCT are eligible to participate.
Players: All players must be licensed through NSF-affiliated clubs for the 2024/2025 Scrabble playing season.
Each State/FCT must enter a minimum of one (1) player and a maximum of six (6) players, including at least one female player.
Player Registration: ₦15,000 per player.
State/Institution Affiliation: ₦30,000 per participating State/FCT/Institution.
A total of 28 games will be played over three days:
All games are WESPA, PANASA & NSF Rated.
The deadline for submission of player entries by States/FCT is Thursday, April 10th, 2025 (on or before 19:00 hrs).

All current WESPA & NSF Rules/Guidelines will apply during the Qualifiers and Grand Finale unless stated otherwise.

Each player will have 25 minutes per game/round.
