Gladiators WESPA  2021 Virtual Scrabble Championships

Knockout Stage:  3rd - 5th December

UPDATE: Team Nigeria bows out honorably in the Quarter Finals.  Eta Karo lost 0-3 while Wellington Jighere was also edged out 2-3 in their best-of-five quarter-final games.  

Eta Karo and Jighere Wellington have both qualified for the knockout stage starting on Saturday, 4th of December 2021. They will be joined by six (6) other players: two (2) from Australia, one (1) from the USA, one(1) from Northern Ireland, one (1) from New Zealand, and one (1) from India.  

The Quarter Finals and Semi-Finals will be a best-of-five, while the Final will be best-of-seven.  Eta Karo and Jighere Wellington will face David Eldar and Will Anderson respectively in their quarter-final best-of-five games.  Their games start at 10. pm local time today (3rd December 2021).
