Lagos Qualifiers emerge for Winifred Awosika Scrabble Tournament for Schools

Christland School Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos was the venue for the Lagos zonal qualifier for the Winifred Awosika Scrabble Tournament for Schools. Over 90 school children from Lagos State gathered to play the beautiful game under the supervision of the officials of the Lagos State Scrabble Association and the Nigeria Scrabble Federation. The occasion was graced by the sponsor of the tournament and founder of the Winifred Awosika Foundation, High Chief Winifred Awosika assisted by the NSF President Alhaji Gora  Suleiman.

At end of five rounds, twenty children qualified to join other qualifiers from the South-West, South-South, South-East and North-Central for the finals taking place at the same venue on Saturday, 2nd of June 2018.
