The Nigeria Scrabble Federation Board

The 10th edition of the World Scrabble Championship is being held in Johor Bahru Malaysia, from 26–29 November 2009. Nigeria is represented by Jighere Wellington, Dennis Ikekeregor, Chinedu Okwelogu and Saidu Ayo. The tournament is covered on the WSC website and Nigeria's performance is covered here.

Scrabble© in Nigeria is managed by Verallen Nigeria Limited. The association was concessioned to the company in May 2009 and Verallen Nigeria Limited are now the major financier of Scrabble© Administration in Nigeria. They provide necessary and robust funding for all activities regarding the development and sustainability of Scrabble in Nigeria.

Six representives were chosen to represent each of the six geo-political zones in the country.

The above board was officially inaugurated on the 9th of June 2009. Ms. Uche Onwumeh is the Secretary General of the N.S.F. At an inaugural meeting of the board held on the 9th of June 2009, the following committees were formed with their respective chairmen.
