Godswill Akpabio Scrabble Classics Latest Updates

The 10th edition of the World Scrabble Championship is being held in Johor Bahru Malaysia, from 26–29 November 2009. Nigeria is represented by Jighere Wellington, Dennis Ikekeregor, Chinedu Okwelogu and Saidu Ayo. The tournament is covered on the WSC website and Nigeria's performance is covered here.

Jighere Wellington is the winner of the 3rd edition of Godswill Akpabio Classics held at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The tournament featured professional Scrabble players across the country playing in the Master category such as Femi Awowade, Pakorn Nemitramansuk, Micheal Tang, Ikekeregor Dennis, Akonor Michael and last year's winner Umujose Emmanuel.
